NEON BAZAAR LAUNCHING DECEMBER 2011

Neon Bazaar is a cyber thrift shop, boutique and pop- anthropology lab. The collection of worldly bric-a-brack and rustic art objects have been amassed through my travels, my flea market rounds in New York City and artist's studio's.

Everything in the collection is uniquely and perfectly imperfect. Individually these relics paint a picture though my collector's eye and design style. Each piece has captured my curiosity, followed me home and told me a story.

From charms to typewriters and teas sets for one, I invite you to live with these objects that have inspire me and will trigger your own tales to tell.

Magnoliasaurus

Magnoliasaurus
is an art project initiated by the second grade teachers at Magnolia Elementary School who invited Art Engineer Luis Martin to imagine what over 200 second grader could create.
The project was a collaboration that involved teachers, parents, administrators and friends. Everyone worked together and offered their time and talent to complete this amazing sculpture for the community at large. For his participation Martin was recognized by the city of Los Angeles for his cultural contribution to Pico-Union and Magnolia Elementary.
